Zaha Hadid, a British Iraqi architect, was hired by the Aussie shoemaker Melissa to design a shoe worth walking in. Shoes as art? Shoes as architecture? Or shoes as shoes? You be the judge. (We here at stimulant are holding out for Frank Gehry shoes – unless they’re cardboard – and wouldn’t mind seeing Manolo Towers.)
