For all of us that lived for the mixed tape in the 80’s, Muxtape updates the mixed tape and makes it social. The site is a platform for bands to promote their music and for listeners to create mixes. For now it’s in the test stages with 12 bands including Girl Talk and Of Montreal, but in the coming weeks bands will be able to sign themelves up for virtual mixtape stardom, for free.
