Tweenbots, a social experiment by ITP student Kacie Kinzer in which a ‘human dependent’ robot is set loose in NYC, made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The robot is decorated with a flag that reveals its destination, and relies on passersby to point him in the right direction. People were helping and actually comforting this little cardboard robot for no reason than to be nice. Wonderful idea.
