Fashion flash

Climate change has never looked so good.

Ryerson photography grad Talia Shipman has exhibited her fine art work as well as commercial fashion and editorial photography throughout Canada and the US. Her photographs have won numerous awards and have appeared in Applied Arts magazine and in the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward series of books (2006, 2008) featuring emerging photographic talent from Canada and abroad. ‘Climate Change’ (featured here) is an example of her use of fashion aesthetics to communicate more serious political and ethical issues.
