Can you read the signs?

Directed by Australian Patrick Hughes, clocking in at over 12 minutes and with almost no dialogue, it helps to dispel the myth that for a video to go viral it needs to be short with some sort of a hook. Signs‘ story draws you in and compels you to watch to its end. This video won a 2009 Cannes Lion for being part of a Schweppes online film festival. I was so drawn in by the story I had no idea it was an advertisement or what it was advertising until I read the YouTube info panel. [Ed's note - which is why we're letting this one slide]

This week’s Frandoms are by Colin Sharp at GJP Advertising + Design.
