Strip club

This disco doesn't suck.

As part of Art Pop at the Pop Montreal International Music Festival, Dominique Sirois takes the concept of a nightclub and reduces it to its bare essentials. Glaring neon, strobing lights, droning music and repeat pattern artwork are some of the elements that make up this deconstructed disco. Click the image to view the video, as it faithfully puts the viewer in the intended space. Thankfully, there’s no dress code or ridiculously long velvet rope lineup to deal with. (Check out more of Sirois’ work here, here and here.)
