Figglehorn owns YouTube

How a pint-sized skateboarder became king of the online video world.

I was skateboarding everyday when I was 12 years old…but then again we didn’t have YouTube back then. At 12 years old, Lucas Cruikshank set up his first YouTube channel – based on his six-year-old comical character Fred Figglehorn – and was uploading a video almost every day. In April 2009 he had the first YouTube channel to hit one million subscribers. Today Fred’s channel has received over 74 million channel views and over 430 million video views. Times have changed.
