Think you know what household appliances will look like in 2050? Prove it. Electrolux is inviting Canadian undergrad and graduate industrial design students to enter the Design Lab competition. The contest asks for entries that consider how we’ll live in smaller spaces, as 74% of the world population will live in urban areas. Eight finalists will be invited to present their entries to a jury of expert designers at the final event in London, U.K. in September, with a scholarship and cash prize up for grabs.
