One Day Without Shoes, April 8th, is orchestrated by Santa Monica, California-based Toms Shoes, a company that for every pair of shoes it sells, gives another to a child in need. By going a whole day, a few hours, or even a few minutes barefoot, people can see for themselves what it’s like not to have something that many of us take for granted on a daily basis. This video, set to the song One Day by singer Matisyahu, explains.
