Got you pegged

The most boring household object becomes the most amazing art.

I had the pleasure of stumbling into Winston Wachter Fine Art in New York and discovering the work of British artist Annie Morris. Particularly inspiring are her massive ‘Peg Paintings’ – assemblages of clothes pegs each with an individually painted self portrait, a daily ritual for Annie. These works really need to be seen in person; the scale, artistry and commitment involved are truly impressive.

This week’s Frandoms are by Mikey Richardson at AmoebaCorp.
