The Dadolescents

This father was born to rock.

Okay, it’s a shameless plug for this contributor’s band, The Dadolescents. Sure most of us create for a living but once we get home from work, we’ll consume more creativity than we ever produce. In this case the Dadolescents is a genre called “aging male suburban complaint punk rock.” The subject matter generously supplies inspiration for songs like: ‘Monthly Sex Night’ and ‘Line of Credit.’ Forget recognition among the “real” art or literary community, or pursuit of an Oscar/Grammy/Emmy or, in this case, world rock domination – do it for the sake of doing it. You were made to make something. Make it. You’ll be happier.
