Waste Land

This documentary is garbage, in a good way.

Waste Land is a documentary that recently came out. We haven’t seen it yet but even the trailer is inspiring. Filmed over three years, the movie follows the renowned artist Vik Muniz as he travels back to his homeland in Brazil to the world’s largest garbage dump. People live in these vast dumps picking garbage. Muniz paints these people out of garbage and the people themselves become inspired. A power of art and human spirit film. Can’t wait.

This week’s Frandoms are by Denise Rossetto and Todd Mackie at DDB Canada.
