El crayolas

A Mexican artist who's not afraid of controversy.

El crayolas is a young Mexican artist who paints about controversial Mexican themes: corruption, religion, the drug war and racism. He put up 150 bus posters and billboards around Mexico which received coverage on MTV Latin America, Univision in the US and major Mexican newspapers and magazines, all debating the themes of his work. We love the fact that Mexicans accept observations of their culture and don’t get hung up on it.
