Strobe app

Better than acid. And now mobile.

I’ve always fancied Paul Neave’s personal website. He’s a British interactive designer that, as he puts it, loves “making computers do silly things.” You can find all sorts of eye candy, from games to weird video mash-ups. The one thing I really love on the site is called The Strobe. Stare at it for 30 seconds, then look around the room and it’s like all the walls have turned aqueous. Well, now, you can get that trippy experience to go with the Neave Strobe App. It costs 99¢ but you’ll be the hit of the next party you go to.

This week’s Frandoms are by Gary Watson at Bos Toronto.
