Driving donations

How do you grab the attention of busy college students and convince them to participate in a campus blood drive? For the American Red Cross and U.S.-based Robert Williams Design, the answer was a carefully crafted giveaway. Students who donated blood were given a 2GB USB flash drive, which housed a promo video, in packaging that resembled a blood bag – a useful incentive that was sure to catch the eye of other potential donors. That’s bloody good thinking.
