Balfour Books

A haven for design hardcovers and oddball paperbacks.

Full disclosure: I lived above this used bookstore on Toronto’s College Street for eight years and it’s still like a second home to me. While it’s known for art and design, photography and food hardcovers, what I like discovering are the oddball paperbacks in the racks. The world is revealed through these old mass market books, stored away decades ago – I never know what I’m looking for until I find it.

This week’s Frandoms are by Liz Walker at Lowe Roche.
