Multi-screen Monty

The Holy Grail gets an iPad app.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is still one of the funniest movies ever. As old as the film is, this iPad app (Monty Python: The Holy Book of Days) brings it to life again. It’s not just commentary and outtakes. It’s a more serious look at what a pain in the arse the movie was to make. Michael Palin has an in-depth daily diary, 3D scans of film props can be analyzed (like the Grenade) and scenes are re-enacted in Lego. The craziest feature is that you can sync all this up with the DVD as you watch, if your player has Bluetooth – a pretty rich and interactive viewing experience. You’ll find brand new stuff to make you pee your pants.
