Tiny Story

A dot and a line with plenty to say.

Good storytelling looks ridiculously easy when it’s done well, but as we all know, it can be more difficult than it looks. Your ability to tell a good story can improve with practice. Also, simplifying your elements certainly helps you focus on what you want to say. That’s what animators Sebas and Clim have done with Tiny Story, an animated film that plays like an Elements of Style for narrative design. Their tools: a dot, a line and a coloured background. Elegant, simple, emotional, surprisingly engaging.
