PhoneSoap

Zap germs while your cellphone charges.

Your mobile phone goes everywhere with you. You put it down on dirty bars, you smear your germy fingertips across its screen and then you press your face against it. It’s enough to bring out the germaphobe in anyone. That’s why we’re drooling (and then washing our face and hands) over Wesley LaPorte and Dan Barnes’ PhoneSoap, an aluminum box that uses UV-C light to kill bacteria and viruses as your phone charges. Call us neurotic, but we really, really, really hope this Kickstarter project gets the funding it needs to launch.
