Smart and BBDO Germany launched a videogame to promote the all-electric vehicle as a “fun” car to drive. A branded videogame? Seems passé, but BBDO Germany read our minds and stepped things up a notch. This isn’t your childhood Nintendo. Using the Smart cars as game controllers, BBDO set up a giant Pong game on a screen, and had participants drive the mini cars back and forth battling for Pong supremacy. We would totally try something like that here, but would probably be too tempted to drive the cute little car away.
