Anti-urban photography

Extra-long exposures capture cities in silence.

Lucie & Simon, an artistic duo from France, have crossed the globe photographing major city centres in ways they’ve never been captured before – void of urban life. They achieve this seemingly impossible feat with the use of a neutral density filter that allows for extra-long exposures, eliminating moving objects like people and cars. Silent World is both unsettling and incredibly beautiful.
