Venus eclipse

The solar event is not to be missed.

In case you hadn’t heard, a once-in-a-lifetime event is going to occur this afternoon. Technically, the Transit of Venus happens twice every century as the tiny planet passes across the sun, but since the first happened eight years ago, this is your last chance to see it. The event will be visible for a full six hours, depending on where you’re stationed, but remember, like a solar eclipse, staring directly at the sun is dangerous. Catch it now, unless you plan on living until 2117.
