In her words

Lee Jung's photographs spell it out.

Lee Jung caught my eye with her photography of her word art. A traditionally trained photographer, Jung creates pieces that evoke a sense of renegade, putting neon word art installations into landscapes. One piece in particular stands out to me – she mounted the words “our country is the paradise of the people” in an area bordering North Korea so that the words would glow at them.  How incredibly avant-garde!

This week’s Frandoms are by Melissa Smich at Tribal DDB Toronto.
