Skeletal bar

HG Giger Bar offers creepy cocktails.

While I don’t think this place would make a good foodie stop, the H.R. Giger Bar (attached to the official H.R. Giger Museum) makes for a creepy, but inspired, afternoon libation. Giger, a Swiss surrealist painter, is well-known for his biomechanical, nightmarish surrealism – and this bar/museum has it in spades (it’s in the shape of a whale’s skeleton). For those who aren’t familiar with Mr. Giger’s work, just dust off that DVD of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi staple, Alien.
