No Agenda

(Likely) the best podcast in the universe.

I have a 45 minute commute in the morning, and again in the evening, which means that I spend a minimum of 7.5 hours per week in my car driving to and from work. Like many commuters, I have discovered the world of podcasts. One of my favourites is No Agenda. It’s an open-source podcast hosted by former MTV VJ Adam Curry and technology and stock market columnist John C. Dvorak. Supported entirely by listener donations, the show is a bi-weekly two- to three-hour conversation in which Curry and Dvorak analyse and deconstruct anything from news and current events┬áto┬ápre-packaged PR stories and puff pieces to drug commercials to entertainment and pop culture “news.” It’s a well produced bit of levity and always offers an interesting contrarian perspective on anything from the mainstream media. If you’re interested in things like the NDAA, “double tap” drone strikes, The Benghazi cover-up, or the Libor scandal, give No Agenda a listen. If not, carry on, nothing to see here.
