Glass house

Don't throw stones in this abode.

Milan-based¬†architecture¬†firm Santambrogiomilano has developed a glass house it says can be built anywhere in the world. Not surprisingly, it’s intended for nature rather than cities, though it does come with a feature that lets you turn the walls matte and prevent anyone from seeing inside. Surprisingly, the structure is designed to withstand both cold temperatures and the blazing sun. Plop one of these near Churchill in northern Manitoba and it would be like one of those shark cages, except with polar bears.
