Street music democracy.

Donations as votes: a fun and democratic way for street musicians to make money. The Collective Cadenza out of New York City is an experimental music group that put out jars with such labels as “Lady Gaga,” “Michael Jackson,” and “Speed Up,” letting passersby decide what they wanted to hear. Kind of puts the open guitar case to shame, doesn’t it?
