Diorama love

The ultimate source for life-like recreations.

I can’t get enough of dioramas, their life-like frozen moments in time make me shut up for a second. If you can’t afford an afternoon wandering New York’s Natural History Museum, spend a few minutes behind the scenes watching a how 70 years of dust gets cleaned off an 80-year-old bear or browse a Tumblr site dedicated to the art. It’s more fascinating than it sounds.

This week’s Frandoms are by Aleysa Young, director, Untitled Films.
