Forest Man

A film about one man's fight to keep an island from sinking.

If the most important ingredient of any film is a great story, then this documentary by Ontario filmmaker Will McMaster promises to be a good one. The storyline focuses on how a local Indian man from Majuli has dedicated his life to save the small island he lives on from being reclaimed by the sea by planting 1400 acres of forest single-handedly over the past 30 years. McMaster has already done the filming, but he’s got a Kickstarter going to raise money to help complete the film. Looks like a project worth supporting.

This week’s Frandoms are by Dave Roberts, ECD and partner, Sid Lee.
