Soapy ring

A functional, disappearing fashion accessory.

As part of Korean artist Kyeok Kim’s “Second Skin” series, she created delicate scented soap rings. Pop one on and wash your hands: The ring disappears, but its scent remains. Kim says the rings are meant to be “a sensory experience that becomes an unconscious moment.” So there’s that. Also, they’re absurdly pretty. Basically, I want to fill a little dish with these bad boys and let my house guests go bonkers.

This week’s Frandoms are by Meredith Klapowich, creative ambassador, Narrative PR and Bensimon Byrne.
