Brother’s Keeper

A tale of simple folks, murder and a media circus.

This 1992 documentary by directors Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky, Brother’s Keeper, follows four brothers who are completely isolated from the modern world in the wake of the (alleged) murder of one of the brothers. It was such an interesting film because it felt like another world, or another time period. There was literally the absence of everything in the brothers’ lives – especially advertising. It is crazy to see modern society exist next to such a simple life.

This week’s Frandoms are by Julia Morra, art director, Grip.
