What if Google bought Detroit?

There’s been a lot of talk lately about Detroit’s bankruptcy and the future of what was once a leading U.S. city. Brandon Tomlin (some guy on the internet) provides a pretty interesting case on why Google should swoop in and turn the city in decline into a live testing ground for groundbreaking tech, like its driverless car. Move over, Silicon Valley, D-town’s in the house.
