Sea Organs

The musical sounds of the waves... seriously.
Sea Organs

Designed by Nikola Bašić, the Sea Organs were built to beautify the Riva-waterfront in Zadar, Croatia. From the outside, they look like a simple marble staircase. On the inside, there are hidden pipes that whistle when waves push air up through them. The effect is a 24-hour orchestra of haunting, yet soothing sounds of the sea.

This week’s Frandoms are by Tiffany Chung, copywriter at Rethink.
