Church conversions

Ancient architecture meets bookstore.

Churches seem to be having a bad decade. The ones that are still standing have seen a decrease in attendance, and most are becoming condo lofts or even worse, themed bars. But this church in The Netherlands found a way to properly honour a church’s glory days by turning it into a bookstore, with a bit of help from Dutch architects, Merkx + Girod.

This week’s Frandoms are by Didier Tovel, founder of  audio production house Sndwrx.
