Butterfly alphabet

Letters and numbers on wings.
BA1NEW

If you were left befuddled after reading Dan Brown’s explanation of “phi” in the Da Vinci Code (where the number 1.618 reoccurs in every facet of nature), well then here’s another divine power of nature head-scratcher.  Photog Kjell Sandved has made it his life’s mission to find hidden designs in nature, and the most surprising is his collection of moth and butterfly wings that detail naturally occurring alphabetical and numerical characters. Just when you think it can’t possibly be more than a fluke, we reveal that he’s got a handful of As, Bs and Cs on wings, to purchase on a poster if you’re so inclined. Now that gives the butterfly effect a whole new meaning.
