Dancing in the streets

Capturing people moving through their city.

I was lucky enough to be present for the premier of two short films by Montreal’s Élisabeth Desbiens at Pub L’Île Noire, in Montreal. Set in various locations around Montreal and Paris (respectively), the films are serene, electric and emotionally charged. Dancers dressed in street clothes each performed a different style of dance, set to an original score, inter-spliced with dreamy shots of the cities. And like each city, each film has its own unique feel and vibe. The films in their entirety haven’t been released to the public just yet, but check out their trailers below.

This week’s Frandoms are by Alyssa Free, copywriter at DentsuBos Montreal.
