Food pride

Salivate over these Sydney International Food Festival edible flags.
Italy

This series of images takes food porn (or what we’d like to call food pride) to a whole new level. The creatives over at WHYBIN\TBWA in Australia shot photos of traditional foods from 18 different countries (think Italian basil, spaghetti and tomato) and patriotically arranged them to represent their flags. It seems the Sydney International Food Festival forgot to include Canada’s own portrait, which we envision entails a Beaver Tail foundation smeared in maple syrup and poutine in the shape of the leaf. On second thought, maybe it’s a good thing we’re not on the list.
