It’s dorky and clunky-looking, and tends to make its wearer look like a target for thieves, but one day, the Ambient Mobile Pervasive Display could be the next thing in wearable technology (if the team at Germany’s University of Ulm can get it down to a reasonable size and ready for commercial use). The backpack tech projects digital messages (emails, text, directions) in front of one’s feet, or on their hands if they prefer to be more discrete. Interested in taking a peak?
