Inspirit samples the truth about youth farming cocoa.

Who doesn’t like some cocoa in the morning? Some unsuspecting shoppers in Portugal recently found out that those who may be opposed to it are the children in the Ivory Coast who are forced to farm it. Lisbon-based non-profit Inspirit, working with agency Bar, set up a cocoa sampling booth and served the less-than-appetizing bitter drink to passersby. Only then did they reveal the equally bitter truth about the unfortunate youth. A bit sneaky, but from the looks of the people reading the message, they weren’t going to forget it, at least until they found a mint.
