The Canuck way

A beginner's guide to Canada for the U.S.

All that separates Canada from the U.S. is a fine invisible line, yet the two couldn’t be any more different. The metric system, healthcare, dialects, spellings, customs, courteousness and coffee chains all point to a country that’s hell-bent on distinguishing itself from what’s happening down South. You go either East or West of North America and the two are perceived as nothing but two peas in a pod. This blog, by New York-born, Toronto-schooled Kevin Bracken attempts to put a stop to that type of thinking and give the visual humorous facts about the differences between countries. I guess I really shouldn’t get fussed over people thinking I’m a Kiwi when they hear my South African accent anymore.
