Mennonite mockumentary or music video?

Canadian director Amos Leblanc crafts a hilarious, genre-blending portrait of a small Mennonite community that’s exposed to the wild electronic trap music of Toronto’s Keys N Krates. As the video goes on, it gets difficult to separate what’s really happening from what we’re meant to believe, but you never stop asking yourself, “How the heck did they pull this off?” Leblanc’s gritty follow-up video for Thugli’s “Run This” is also well worth a watch.

This week’s Frandoms are by Kyle Carpenter, copywriter at Toronto’s Entrinsic.
