Gallery 1988

A web-based gallery for art that frequently features Bill Murray.

GalleryIf the internet had an official art gallery, it would be L.A.-based Gallery 1988. It regularly showcases sample video games, pop culture, classic movies, memes, and more frequently, Bill Murray. Basically everything the internet loves. Some of its recent art shows have been about velvet paintings of wrestlers from the 1980s, or Step Brothers, or ads for fictitious products. You get the idea. The current show is a 30th anniversary celebration of Ghostbusters and the pieces will once again feature Bill Murray.

This week’s Frandoms are by Ian Simpson, senior copywriter at Ogilvy.
