Tom Hanks gives the finger to digital keystrokes.

Hanx Writer1From the guy who was seen sitting behind a computer keyboard for about 60% of the movie You’ve Got Mail, the Hanx Writer is an app that Tom Hanks created to essentially give the finger (so to speak) to the digital age. The tablet app replaces the digital key stroke sounds with that of a typewriter. So forget the monotonous ‘click, click, click’ sounds that come from someone’s tablet when they’ve forgotten to put on silent mode, and instead imagine the loud sounds of keys clacking and the musical dings as you start a new paragraph. Personally, we can’t see why the two devices need to be combined, but then again, some people will do anything to have their cake and eat it too.
