La Cubana

The nostalgia of an old school diner, but with a modern twist.

Marta_2La Cubana is diner in Toronto’s Roncesvalles neighbourhood serving rich and authentic Cuban food. Not only do they serve delicious medianoches and fried plantains, but the interior features beautiful hand lettering done by local letterer Rcade. Couple with sea foam green tiles, comfortable booths and bright lighting, La Cubana really brings back the nostalgia of old school diners but with a modern twist.

This week’s Frandoms were curated by creative director Joel Gregorio, designer Rachelle Letain, and graphic designer Marta Ryczko at Toronto’s Sovereign State.
