Frameless by Hudson and Troop
A director learned sign language for months to make this music video.
Frameless is a clip I graded and which recently won a J-Award for Music Video of the Year from radio station Triple J (which is very much an institution in Australia, so it carries a lot of weight). The director, Darcy Prendergast, learned Auslan (the sign language of the Australian Deaf community) for months for this video, but the real achievement came from simply surviving the 38 degree, 12-hour shoot day in a bear suit.
This week’s Frandoms are by Ros Di Sisto, senior colourist at Smith in Toronto.
