The Rescued Film Project
Images forgotten and then found by strangers.
The Rescued Film Project, founded by photographer Levi Bettwieser, is an online archive gallery of images that were captured on film between the 1930′s and late 1990′s. Found in locations all over the world, each image was taken from undeveloped rolls of film. The “Rescued People” and “Rescued Places” are my two favourite archives on the site. They give a glimpse into the intimate moments of other people’s lives, and makes you wonder about the story behind each image.
This week’s Frandoms are by Shannon Stephaniuk, founder of Glossy.
