The Selfie Arm illusion
Never again look like you're taking photos of yourself alone.
If you facepalm every time someone brings out a selfie stick, you should probably close this browser window, now. The following is for people who don’t get red at the thought of our current narcissistic generation. “Nobody wants to look alone while they mindlessly snap pictures of themselves,” proclaims the website housing the Selfie Arm, a simple stick with a camera on one end and a fake hand on the other. It was designed by Justin Crowe as commentary on the selfie stick phenomenon, and of course, our need for internet validation, he says. We know it’s a gag, but we’re also almost certain that someone has been hounding this guy for their next Christmas gift. There’s always that person.
