Today we’ll skip the sauna

...and sit in the snow room instead.

Desert Snow, the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) only specialist in winter solutions, is providing indoor “snow rooms” (as seen on Cool Hunter). These rooms, dubbed “Areasauna,” can be used at spas or at home (in case you miss winter…) and they produce snow in the -18 to -10 Celsius rooms. According to the firm, the idea was inspired by a Scandinavian tradition in which, after a sauna, people would go outdoors and roll in the snow to alleviate the sauna’s hot temperatures. The room also has health benefits, such as increased energy, fat burning, detoxification and reduction in the formation of wrinkles and cellulite.

Count me in for a try… as long as I return to +20, thank you.
