Majestic seaside murals by Sean Yoro

Look closer, she's not actually in a tub.

Full disclosure: I have a contentious relationship with street art. When I see huge initials crudely sprayed on a wall I struggle to see it as anything but someone marking territory like a dog does a hydrant. But perhaps that’s what I love most about what Sean Yoro is doing with his art. He finds dark, grey spaces and gives them life and an incredible sense of wonder. To me, his work is equal parts Chuck Close, Shepard Fairey and Kelly Slater.
