Music making Metrolinx

Who thought a transit system would have such groove?

Sure, sometimes we Torontonians complain about the transit system. We’re comparing ours to giant cities like London and New York, and it’s OK to want the best because we want to be the best.

But it really isn’t bad, especially when you watch this new commercial from Metrolinx and Grey Canada, showing every mode of transport the government agency offers, and you see how the massive (but still new compared to those aforementioned cities) system services the massive Greater Toronto Area.

“Transit is the pulse of our ever-growing region. Over the next 10 years, Metrolinx will deliver projects and services that will significantly change transit in our region,”┬ásaid Joel Arbez, Executive Creative Director at Grey. “With this campaign, we want to remind Ontarians that a growing transit system truly functions as the heart of our region, creating connections that will help residents move more effectively across one seamless GTHA community.”

And so, in what we believe is a big cry for the city to stop its griping, Metrolinx is saying, in this spot that makes music from anything, “Together, Let’s Get Moving” on the “largest transit build in Canadian history.”
